Real Madrid forward Javier Saviola (26) told an Argentinian newspaper this week how his Barcelona team mates reacted when the first rumours appeared that he could be heading to Madrid on a free transfer. Some players couldn't understand the move, especially Barcelona midfielder Xavi: "He's a big Barça fan and very catalan. He just couldn't understand how I was able to join the eternal rival. In the end though, he realised it was the best thing for me."
