Ajax confirms Henrique loan deal possible

Asked about the rumours linking Palmeiras central defender and Brazilian international Henrique Adriano Buss (21), who is close to joining Barcelona (read more here), with an Ajax Amsterdam loan deal, Ajax sports director Danny Blind has said to Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf that this could indeed be an option:

"In an earlier stage the construction was being looked at, altough now it's too early to say anything about it. Of course we would prefer to go for the long term and buy a player. But if the quality of the other options is too low or if other options fail for other reasons, then you should consider a loan deal. At that point, Henrique would be a serious option, cause the fact that we also would have liked to buy him means that we believe in the player."

Catalan sports paper El Mundo Deportivo meanwhile claims that, although the plan is clearly to let the player gain some more experience at another club, for Barcelona all options are still open regarding where Henrique would play on loan next season: Brazil (Palmeiras or another club) or Europe (Spanish league or other league).

I think this would be a great thing: he could adapt to Europe without too much pressure, Ajax also plays top of their league and 4-3-3, so seems like the ideal solution to me for next season (or even next two seasons).

With Puyol, Marquez, Caceres, Piqué, Milito from January, and even Oleguer and Abidal we already have enough quality people for the two centre back postitions, so we don't really need him and he wouldn't play a lot.

Great. We loan them Henrique, they sell Huntelaar to us.

I just don't see Barcelona loaning him back to Palmeiras. If they want Henrique to gain more experience against better competition they will either loan him out to one of the newly promoted teams in La Liga or to Ajax, who as the commentator above mentioned plays a similar style and formation to that of Barcelona.
And I agree with the second commentator as well that in exchange for the loan deal, Ajax agrees to sell us Huntelaar for a slightly discounted price. At the very least it gives Barcelona a fall back option should the transfer of Adebayor fall through.

I have twisted thoughts about this issue...the more i believe its the best option to loan him out,Spanish team may be a better option, but i also think that if he is half as talented as they say(and i never seen him playing)and if he is already an international with Brazil, and if he play in all defensive positions, then for sure he has to be a better quality than Oleguer to back up alvis on the right...I am sure that its not decided yet if he will b loaned out or not, barca made sure to make him aware of this possibility(loaned out)so he don't face a drop in form/mood/confidence if it happened, but taking him to the preseason is a sign that they r considering there options.even if barca wanted huntelaar(i doubt) selling Oleguer will generate more money in barca pockets than loaning out henrique can save.i don't expect Oleguer to be sold for lot of millions but still..
