another good performance i s'pose, defence looking bit ropey at times - two goals so far from mistakes. as for not possessing enough finishers we've scored 19 goals in 4 games which isn't bad! if we do get a no 9 and a scoring LFW we could be in for a good season. pedro and jeffren looked good again, especially jeffren for the short time he was on, looked like he realised his been selfish and worked on it.
were we playing 5-3-2 after jeffren went off or using sylvinho as LM?
Xavi is the man. And Barca is still the best attacking football club in the world without Messi, a problem in the back-line for pep to solve.
Yet again a horrible performance from Gudjunsen. We must get rid of him and give a chance to our young midfielders/forwards. Guddy isn`t doing the team any favours neither defensively or offencively. He`s just not good enough for this team, espesially the style we play. Sell the guy. Even if we wound`t get any one to replace him. We got better players all ready.
The new team looks ok. Just lacking the left winger. I hope that the Silva deal goes through.
Hleb looked really good. He will fit in just fine. Iniesta played outstanding as did Xavi. Henry and Keita didn't have the sharpness of the others. Guddy should be sold at the earliest opportunity. He gave the ball away more than he kept it.
Hey! can someone tell me the formation that Barca is using right now, cause i do not think it is 4-3-3... four defenders, one difensive mid. one atacking, two wings one center foward and one striker I think its like that..
I was at the match, and Hleb was freakin' spectacular. His first touch on that pass from Iniesta. Wow.
Henry was mentally somewhere else, probably saying to himself, "Why am I farting around on the left wing again this season?"
Keita is Yaya-like in his control and calmness.
And no matter how much invective one might want to hurl at Gudjohnsen from watching on the telly, seeing him staggering ineptitude live and in-person beggars description. He's the world's best-paid spectator.
Puyol was pretty stanky on both goals. But we can forgive the captain a little bit of humanity. The first goal he seemed to think that Pinto was going to come out, then the ball just sort of stopped in no man's land, and the attacker outran him. The second was just bad marking. The back line looked more solid in the first half.
That no striker thing in the first half was weird. Positionally, Hleb was sort of a striker, but....
wat in the F*cK is wrong with HENRY... HE IS LOOKING LIKE DEAD WEIGHT EVEN IN HIS "PREFERRED" CENTER FORWARD ROLE

Barca need ETO. You guys can hate on this guy all you want but withouth him this yr, barca would be shit.Henry cant do what eto does,Bojan is good but not Eto good.
And about all the other strikers that barca is going after stupid. I have been a barca fan for 20yrs and This new coach would realise how much of a mistake he made leting go eto,deco and Dinho.
Hey guys, no matter what you say about Poyol, he is coasting Barca a lot. He makes same mistakes he made last season. I think the coach should just play him for the first 45 minutes. He is a good defender but he is becoming old, he can't run to beat the young Mexican, like you saw in the game betwn Barca vs Chivas.
Great atmosphere in the stadium, very good-natured, as befits a high-quality friendly. The Chivas fans seemed to know what they were in for, and the two goals sent them over the moon. Lots of fun.
Henry's dithering about on left wing was inexplicable. He really looked as if he wanted to be somewhere else.
Eto'o looked good, with lots of movement and energy. But that's always true of him.
But I would say that Hleb stole the first half show, and Krkic the second half.
I really must say smth, eventhough i do not want to even think about it. Puyol it is not performing at all, i know that everyone knows that but the issue is that he is our captain our icon , and we do not want to even imagine smth like that, but guys thats the truth. if he doesnt not get better we will have a lot of trouble next season. Only thing he will never forget to do is: organizing the defence when it comes to mark someone he is just lost , his tackles are becoming nonsense.

it was only this game that he looked ropey, against fiorentina he looked really solid. quite a few of the players didn't seem quite 'with it', maybe jet lag not sure but i think puyol is still the 1st choice CB, and still one of the best in the world he and pique will be solid nxt year.
Our captain is becoing a real crap first goal his amateur mistake second goal, he missed it he should have knocked that ball of the area, he is total crap. caceras and marquez should start next season
Don't forget that Puyol joined the group one and a half week later.
You can't blame Puyol for the fist goal. The back pass was horrible, and left him in cement. I forget who played the pass.
Kluivert... it was Alves who made the pass. I blame him more than Puyol... simple lapse of concentration. I'm not worried about it... that's what these games are for.
I think Guardiola is planing for the next seasons, most of the players are new, they will need time to win titles, they may win something small this year
it's not that bad that some player make mistakes, i bet guardiola saw everithig and players will work on it, so we conceded 2 goals, so what, but we scored 5, and all game was only barcas domination.
