Medical: Messi has quadriceps problems

Barcelona's medical staff has announced that Barcelona right wing attacker and Argentinian international Lionel Messi (21) got injured at the end of the training session earlier today.

Messi had some troubles in the quadriceps, the muscles on the front of the thigh, of his right leg. Several medical tests have shown that the player doesn't have a serious muscle injury.

The availibity of Messi for Sunday's game against Getafe is doubtful although it is not yet clear if and how long the player would be out. This will depend on the evolution of the troubles in the coming hours and days since the club in the first place wants to exclude further risks.

chill out they are watching messi like he is a king,he wont have a serius injury this year,he was rested also in the argentina match,it wont be that bad if he misses one match for the same of not getting injured for 1-2months .

this team has alot of cover for the wings and midfield, its not like 2-3 seasons before where we were counting on ronnie most of the times, now we are counting on eto,if eto gets injured then we should all start crying hehe
