Last night's match was a disgrace for Barca, Pepe should respect more the history of the Camp Nou.
I can understand that he wanted to rest the players but the final picture wasn't flattering for the club.
Young players should get their chances but the team's image must always be in a very high level.
Last night Barca looked like a playground...

no nico this is not a disgrace.he had done the right thing by resting the key players for the el classico but i thouhgt the mistake he made was in the defence,he would had used some one like puyol or maquez.instead of pairing sanchez with pique, but to be candid sanchez realy tried.but i could questiong the perfumance of caceres on the flank.

Iniesta really shouldn't sit next to Eto'o in the stands :d

Always trying to "catch" the game in one picture...

You can click on it if you want to have it enlarged.

That's my point lekan he could have used some first team players in the key positions in order to secure our defense.
A team like Barca should never look like this.Pepe should respect our pride for the club, i like the first place but i don't like the attitude..

i think Bojan is not ready to play for a team like Barcelona because he's not strong enough physically to be a top striker and he's not skillful enough to play on the wing, maybe we should loan him to one of the middle table team in la liga for him to improve on his game. Ramzi please i want your opinion on this.

The defense was shaky, but it's no point in calling this a disgrace. Plenty of players gained experience from this and I'm glad to see they could produce what they did. I would've been furious with pep if he used some of the key players just to maintain that record. We finished 1st in the CL group, El Clasico is ahead and no players were hurt. What more can we ask for?

Looks like Sven-Göran Eriksson is there in the pic as well.

+1

Absolutely !!
No blames on pep please. He did the right thing.

One thing, now this defeat can be considered as a wake up call. And at the right time.

The fire will be back for El Classico.
Visca El Barca !!

Nico, Pep should respect our pride for the club? Are you kidding me? The man is a legend poured his heart into this club for many years. He is Catalan through and through, and I can tell you that if there's anything missing from that man, it certainly is not his pride for the club. First place in the group was already secured: the game was an opportunity to blood some young players on the big stage, not risk any injuries to key players, and rest our starters before El Clasico. Questioning Guardiola's pride for the club is a little absurd.

Ha-ha! love the pic. you wont ever see another pic like that again!

Mann...all you people who call who complain about every little thing is getting quite over whelming in some of these comments.
This is futbol - you win some you lose some. you can’t make every shot a goal! Even Barca will have there loses and sloppy mistakes, b/c we are not perfect. Remember "Barca is more than a club, we continue to show example of being more than just a blog.

Bojan did not badd last night, not his best work, but he was man handled on that pitch by everyone. Even he got sick in tired of the abuse and that’s what caused him to act out and receive the yellow card. My sight - i see nothing he did wrong. Was glad it was just a yellow. It seems with his small size... makes it difficult sometimes.

The whole team did well, I think. Some sloppy control and passes, but all in all, not bad. - What did you expect?
It was Barca B vs 1st squad Shakhtar - com'on people! Give some credit! Besides Keita and Helb doing their part as veterans on pitch - yelling out commands - saw the frustration on Helb face some players wouldn’t get in the cut or set up for the pass/shot. Still, we scored 2 nice goals and still hung in there.

Must admit the 2nd Shakhtar goal was sic. I don’t know if VV could’ve stopped that.
And Pedro had some sick moves within the 18 - but still couldn’t find that end result, but thats why practice makes perfect - Pep knows this and this what made him decide to put this team on the pitch. He did the right thing

We had nothing to lose and the whole europe knows that the 1st team did not play. We has everyone rested up for El Clásico and everyone still fears being drawn against us. I have no worries, STILL.

- Man of the Match - Pep!
(just think if we won 2-0; what everyone would be saying about Pep's coaching)

My input to this would be, that Barcelona fans need to acknowledge players like Gudjohnsen and Henry a little more, whilst there are players queuing up in years to come to take these slots, alot of the players on show yesterday need to develop a bit more, before they can be absolute regulars.

What worries me, is the unbeaten run going, and the momentum for the Madrid match, but if Pep feels resting players = better performance on Saturday, fair enough.

As is stands, I dont think Keita and Hleb showed enough to be included in Saturday's team, apart from the regulars, I think Toure,Gudjohnsen and Henry should fill the debatable positions.
