Chelsea considering offer for Iniesta

Catalan sports paper Sport claims that Chelsea is interested in Barcelona attacker and Spanish international Andrés Iniesta (24), whose contract with Barcelona expires in the summer of 2013.

Chelsea, that already made a 70 million euro bid for Iniesta two years ago, would be considering making another attempt to sign the Spaniard at the end of the current season.

Dream on chelsea. Iniesta is a fan favourite + one of the best attacking midfielders in the world + he loves being at the club + Barça don't need the money = No transfer.

Totally agreed! The fans would go crazy if he was going to be sold just because of the money.

Hahahahahhahahaha. Pay the buyout clause, see if iniesta will sign a contract. Barca players like iniesta are loyal. Barca born and bred, but a team like chelsea would not know about players such as these. I saw somewhere Iniesta = Barca's Kaka. I totally agree. You want iniesta, offer what you would offer for Kaka and watch us turn it down.

Don't worry, folks. Will. Never. Happen.

We're happy to give Chelsea our castoffs, however. Nice to see Deco fitting in so well over there, with the rumors of clubhouse rifts and favoritism going willy-nilly over there.

Iniesta to chelsea When Deco become the coach there, 15 years from now.

But I doubt Ibramovic will still be there till then, so...

This was a good joke.

Iniesta is a symbol of the idologi of the club, to make home-products super-player.

And Iniesta is the future. On two/three years he is the one to leads th ship.

haha that was two years ago, and only because mourinho loves him. Chelsea doesnt have that kind of money to spend anymore, abramovich's fortune has dwindled significantly.

Chelsea like Juve wanting to spend '$90 million on Messi' have once again been playing too much Football Manager. It is nice to see our players attrating interest from other teams unlike Madrid who can't even release Saviola on loan!! Remember when he left and Madrid were mocking us. Now look who is laughing :-)

Either they r depraved or they are trying to be funny or its some sort of complicated strategy to get some other player of ours or sell us some of theirs. Maybe they want to send Deco back.
