Looking back to your archives pep today is also the first anniversary of this blog.

Well, I cant thank you enough for the work you have put in here. Its obvious that all that is published here is carefully selected and verified to the extent that it can be.

Also it provides the opportunity for cules to collect and discuss all aspects of the clubs' activities.

Reading through your first post it seems your goals were a little different when you started the blog. Extending the blogs' coverage to more than transfer news to the present interview translations, Ramzi's analysis, Stigsby's stats, etc has shown that this blog has evolved to reflect the club in some ways and truly give credence to the motto Mes que un blog.

Keep up the good work, (the rest of us will promise to help :)).

You're a little too early, kamikaze. Will put a post on it when the time is there! But thanks already... ;)

The content of the site really stands out compared to other sites. But the "featural" side of the site could use a good polishing.

The main reason is that blogger is featurewise just too limited. I think Wordpress would really be a major progress over blogger.

With WP you could have a nice sidebar (or 2) where you put your widgets.

You wouldn't be forced to put things as "polls" and "quote of the day" in blogpost but they would reside in the sidebar and every visitor would see them at all times.

Other examples of widgets are a flickr-widget that shows the recent pictures of for example a flickr-pool where fcbtransfers-user could upload their fcb-related pictures/artwork etc or a shoutbox.

The statistics for the live match chat tell us that the users want to communicate with eachother.

With WP you could easily implement a forum in the site. Sometimes the comments just don't cut it.

You could even implement some subtile advertising wich you could use for a domainname + webspace (about 30€/year)

WP has a gazillion extensions/widgets/themes that other people already have made for you.

The options are endless and I know you're just one person but I see that the visitors here are willing to help (cfr. the translations).
I for one wouldn't mind.

For the community by the community right?

Happy B-day already! ;)

i actually prefer the simplistic format and it makes this site unique to other forums, blogs and websites.

Thanks for your remarks, Ilias. They're very well appreciated although most of it sounds like Chinese to me (volgende keer misschien in het Nederlands?).

Getting a better lay-out is certainly one of the following steps. And we need to bring in more community elements (facebook, twitter, blablabla. I don't know anything about it, but I know it could be useful). It's on the schedule for the coming months.

hold on, ik antwoord morgen...

You're being watched!

Goed weekend!
