Manchester City moving to bring in Henry

British tabloid News of the World claims that Manchester City has made Barcelona forward and French international Thierry Henry (31) their top target for the summer (read more here).

Manchester City CEO Garry Cook would have made the first step this week by contacting player's agent Pini Zahavi and asking him to set up a deal in time for next season.

The English Premier League club wants a big name in their squad to attract other star players as they attempt to become a world top club and Henry could be available without paying anything like the record fee talked about for Kaká.

Henry is thought to be keen on returning to England and the move would become increasingly likely if Barcelona fulfils this season the Frenchman’s lifelong ambition of winning the Uefa Champions League.

With Manchester City planning to bring in six top names this summer, Barcelona would have two other players who could interest the English club: Barcelona defensive midfielder and Ivory Coast international Yaya Touré (25) (read more here) and Barcelona forward and Cameroonian international Samuel Eto'o (28) (read more here).

We should sell him while we still could get good cash for him.

Henry won't be getting any younger or any better, we could have a better (and younger) player for his position.

Pini Zahavi is not Henry's agent, thank god.

The prick Zahavi is Giovani dos Santos's agent. A vulture who's only intention is to make as much money he can from his clients.

He will never go to an other english outfit than arsenal. He has said this numerous times! That means he is a Barca player until he decides to wind down...

Sell Sell Sell while the stock his stock is high. Haha. No seriously, as good as henry has played, he has his price and we should give other younger players with potential a chance to have fun in our attacking triangle. There are numerous others who would do just as well as henry has done.
