Galicia regional newspaper La Voz de Galicia claims that Barcelona was interested in Alcorcón attacking midfielder Juan Antonio Nevado Fernández (23).
Barcelona would have wanted to add Nevado to the squad of Barcelona Atlètic for next season but the Spanish midfielder reportedly rejected the offer and signed yesterday a contract with third division club Pontevedra.
